SAMIT Welcomes IT Rep from Griffith U.

The School of Applied Media & Information Technology (SAMIT) is pleased to welcome Dr. V. Muthukkumarasamy from the IT department of Griffith University in Australia. Dr. Muthukkumarasamy is our first visitor since last year's signing of a credit transfer agreement between our two institutes. This agreement allows for graduates of DMD and other SAMIT diploma programs to apply their designation toward the first two years of a bachelors degree offered by Griffith.
Located on five campuses, spanning three cities along the Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor in Australia, Griffith University includes Queensland's oldest academy, the Queensland Academy of Art. Its schools and faculties are organized into ten study areas; including, engineering, IT, visual and creative arts. Graduates interested in exploring a bachelor's degree should contact the DMD office for further details.
DMD looks forward to Dr. Muthukkumarasamy's visit and tour of our facility, during which time he will meet with students and at least one grad who have already expressed interest in the opportunity.
